The hampster is running...
Yeah, so I just saw The Passion of the Christ. I’m not Christian, although I was raised one, but it still made me really think. I left the theater and rode the about 10 minutes on the bus before I said a word. It was gory, but it was powerful. Even my typing is affected because I’m using short choppy sentences to explain things. I should’ve done my homework beforehand...
doing a happy dance
So, I"M GOING HOME THIS WEEKEND! I'm so happy. My mom is having ACL surgery on Thursday and both she and I were sad that she had to do it without me there. But the best part is that I'm surprising everybody but my friend Bill and my Mom and Dad. My sister and boyfriend are going to be COMPLETELY surprised. It'll be wonderful!Anybody want anything from Minnesota? I'm in the best mood, and then later tonight I'm going to see The Passion of the Christ. Hmm. Way to ruin a happy mood, but whatever. It's $3 and I'm broke....still doing the happy dance...while cleaning the pit that is my room.

Mental relief
So okay. Today was MaryBeth's birthday and I baked her cake this morning and then we all celebrated with an indoor picnic and that was fun. After that I was freezing at the Crew carwash, and accidentally flashed 135 while taking off my shirt with my friend un-hooking my bikini top. However, the hours I spent there were fun. Especially when Erin, Seth and I went to the Suds & Dub (local $13 carwash) (too much for a carwash I think) and we convinced about half of the people who were pulling in that they should come support Wellesley Crew instead. It was good times. Then I left with Deena to do her weekend bells and we watched Felicity at the bells desk. Then she left to go back home. I always feel a little miffed when she goes home on the weekends, and I've never really justified it to myself, but for some reason, I still lonely and sad on the weekends when Dee goes home.

Feeling good.
Do you know what's good? I'll list things for you:Feeling okay about turning in a problem set with the last three questions left blank, cool roommates, friends with birthdays to plan for, baking birthday cakes for said friends with birthdays, Kit Kat Klocks, oranges that don't take forever to peel and taste great, uber pink grapefruits in the mornings, friends who support me when I'm feeling low and stupid, eating with cool people at lunch, Tierney Sutton singing jazz, Mozart, photos of your own that your photophilic friend thinks rock, eating a long leisurely breakfast with your male coach and a bunch of crewbies talking about indie movies and sex toys, pushing a car up a hill with 6 other people helping you, and 8 people inside of it at 6:30 am for workout, drawing pictures and designing stages for college credit, grocery shopping, singing in the shower, helping my little sister in Minnesota fix our TV from Massachusetts, people who are cool and read my live journal and write me encouraging comments (thanks guys), and Spring.I'm so glad that today is Friday. I'll have a chance to bake a cake, watch Monk, sleep in tomorrow, play Neverwinter Nights, clean my room, and finally have a good night's sleep. Ah, that sounds wonderful. Hmmmm.

Already depressed...
So, I've been working on Physics for some time now. I still don't understand any of it. At all. None. I doubt I ever will. The reason this makes me so depressed is that I so badly want to major in Astro, but unfortunately, you need a strong physics background. I can't even get stupid spring stuff and acceleration in 1 dimension! Agh! It's so frustrating because I want to like it so much, but I can't. It makes me feel like shit. There are a ton of other things floating around in my head as well. So for a week now, I've decided that I can't stand physics at all, and I'm now trying to decide what else I might be interested in. Ever since I've started really getting into my stagecraft class, I'm thinking about architecture. I think it would be great. I talked to my mom and she said maybe I can try an architecture class this summer at the U of M to see if I like it or not. Sounds great to me. So I started looking at the course calendar at the U. Their summer semester runs from mid May to the third week in August. No can do if I want to go to China or Madeline Island. So after that, I started checking all the other local universities and art schools and then got so interested in theater, sculpture, photography, design, film, and media production programs that now I'm completely confused and it seems like I want to do way too much and knowing that I can't feels terrible.Anyways, I'm just getting started on this whole live journal thing, so it's probably terrible reading. Sorry.

My first post!
So I decided to start a live journal instead of working on my Physics problem set. I don't know how often it will be updated, but you never know.Lately, I've been really pensive mixed with low self-esteem, so maybe I'll be able to get all my thoughts straightened out this way. Also, those of you who might actually be reading this might get a rare glimpse in the messed-up-ed-ness that is my brain. Congrats. So, back to Physics or else my Friday will suck being spent all in the sci lib working furiously until noon.

Munger Questions!
If you have a question about living in Munger this year, leave them in a comment on this post. I've lived there for the past two years and done everything with the dorm so I can answer pretty much any question you have.MegClass of 2007
